As we continue reviewing public records obtained through FOIA requests, one thing has become increasingly clear:
There has been a surprising level of interest in our small, By-Right campground.
Emails, communications, and involvement from individuals in areas you might not expect continue to surface as we sort through the documents.
Some of these communications include:
• Suggestions on changes to local ordinances
• Direct outreach and communication to members of the Board of Supervisors
• Direct outreach and communication to the Planning Departments etc
This level of attention raises important questions — not just for us, but for the public.
• Who and what has been involving behind the scenes?
• And what role has that involvement played in shaping decisions?
As we continue to go through the records, we will be sharing what we find.
We are not here to tell you what to think.
